Agoura Hills

A thief stole a generator and a jackhammer and other tools valued at $3,500 from a pickup truck parked at a construction site on Kanan Road between July 27 and 28.

A scissor lift was stolen from a construction site in the 28800 block of Canwood Street. The lift, valued at $5,000, was recovered in tact one block from the site, but the thieves caused $400 in damages to the fence.

A thief stole a Sony DVD camcorder and a mini DV camera from a vehicle parked on Rainbow Crest on July 27. The items were hidden under a jacket on the front seat. They were valued at $1,300.

Someone broke into a car parked in a driveway on Lake Lindero Drive between July 27 and 28. The culprit stole a $300 DVD player and caused $250 in damages to the rear passenger window.

Vandals shattered the windshield of a vehicle parked in a driveway on Dovetail Drive on July 18. Damages were estimated at $1,100.

Someone stole a large trash bin that was placed on Agoura Road. The item was valued at $6,000. The theft occurred around June 25.

Calabasas Someone stole a Dell computer hard drive and an Epson printer valued at $1,000 from the office of Creekside Park in the 3600 block of Old Topanga Canyon Road. The incident occurred between July 15 and 18.

Thieves broke into a home on Paul Revere Drive and stole a $7,000 television, a $12,000 antique clock and $5,000 worth of jewelry. The break-in occurred between July 18 and 19.

A purse containing a Social Security card, a driver’s license, credit cards and car keys was stolen from a work station in an office at the 4700 block of Commons Way. The purse also contained $150 in cash. The incident occurred on July 25 between 5 and 10:30 p.m.

Someone stole a Rolex watch and jewelry from a home on Paul Revere Drive between July 27 and 28. The value of the items was not disclosed. There were no signs of forced entry.

Westlake Village

Several tools were stolen from the back of a Ford truck parked between July 27 and 28 on Via Colinas. The items were valued at $2,934.

Hidden Hills

Someone stole a leather briefcase that contained a Sony laptop computer and a cell phone from the front seat of an unlocked vehicle parked on Judy Smith Road. The items were valued at $2,900 and the incident occurred sometime around July 26.
