Changes at the city council After reading the two joinedat-the-hip letters in the July 28 Acorn from the two planning commissioners who are running for city council, it’s obvious that the current Agoura Hills city councilmen are taking for granted who will succeed them in the election this November. These two candidates have been on the planning commission for over 10 years and are responsible for approving the beautiful office buildings that line the 101 corridor and produce no revenue to Agoura Hills. These two, if elected, will cater to the small minority that have controlled Agoura Hills for 20 years now and are responsible for a Kanan interchange that still needs replacement, no funding for our schools and horse trails instead of the great amenities that Calabasas and Westlake Village enjoy. Hopefully, Agoura Hills residents will have the same awakening that Calabasas citizens had this year when they replaced two city council members who did not represent the whole city.
