The coyote got the cat

Regarding the letter from the Oak Park woman who was so shocked that her two cats were eaten by coyotes; she should move to the city.

Some of us live in semi-rural areas because we enjoy living among the beauty and realities of nature. I can’t imagine being so totally unaware of my surroundings that I would send my two cats outside to feed the local fauna. I cringe at the thought of the terror her cats experienced prior to their demise.
