Escrow group to offer seminar

The Los Angeles Escrow Association and the San Fernando Valley Escrow Association, two regional chapters of the California Escrow Association, will jointly sponsor “Building Your Future, Through Education,” a program looking at current trends, issues and legislation affecting the escrow process. The event begins at 8 a.m. Sat., July 23 at the Airtel Plaza Hotel, 7271 Valjean Ave., Van Nuys.

The conference will include educational sessions for escrow practitioners of all levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals. Courses will focus on current and relevant industry issues and will include explorations of topics from current litigation and case law review to the “ins and outs” of the California Association of Realtors contracts and prorations.   A highlight of the event will be a legislative update from keynote speaker and California Escrow Association legislative advocate Mike Belote. 

Attendance is $65 and $80.
