Local resident graduates from West Point

Argyle Scott Nelson Cadet Argyle Scott Nelson graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on May 28 with major in American politics. He was commissioned a second lieutenant, branched Infantry. He will attend an Officer Basic Course at Ft. Benning, Ga. and after training may join an active Army unit.

Nelson graduated from Oak Park High School in 2000 and is the son of Argyle and Barbara Nelson of Oak Park.
