Local student participates in leadership conference

Carla Weber of Calabasas will join 200 middle school students from across the U.S. at the Junior National Young Leaders Conference from July 3 to 12 in Washington, D.C.

With the theme of “The Legacy of American Leadership” the conference will introduce Weber to the tradition of leadership throughout American history. She will participate in educational activities and presentations, meet elected officials and key Congressional staff members on Capitol Hill as well as visit historic landmarks.
