Lupus group now meets at new location

The Conejo Valley Lupus Support Group will begin meeting at a new location as of their next gathering at 6 p.m. Tues., July 5. The group now meets at the Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center East Campus, 150 Via Merida (off Lakeview Canyon Road), Westlake Village.

Sponsored by Lupus International, the group meets the first Tuesday of every month from 6 to 8 p.m., with the period between 6 and 6:30 p.m. allocated to open conversations.

Lupus is a term for a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the entire body called systemic lupus erythematosus. The focus of the support group meetings is how to effectively live with lupus.
