Blood drive tomorrow in Westlake Village

Community participation is welcome at the seventh annual Hyatt Drive for Life blood drive for hotel employees and guests to be conducted by United Blood Services from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. tomorrow, Fri., July 1, in the employees’ parking lot, 880 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.

Organizations such as the American Red Cross traditionally report that blood is critically needed before major holidays such as Independence Day. More than 100 Hyatt facilities worldwide will be participating in the drive, with the goal of donating blood to the military, blood centers and more than 5,000 hospitals.

As an expression of gratitude for local residents attending the event and donating blood, the hotel will provide two complimentary tickets to its Reggae Nights event, presented each Friday night through August. For more information, please call Blanca Duran at (805) 557-4633.
