School with a 4.4 grade point aver
age and a passion for science. He’s
the team research director on the
elite NASA team, only one of four
projects in the nation selected to ride
on the space shuttle.
In extracurricular activities,

Federation, National Honors Soci
ety and Math Honors Society.
To earn the coveted Eagle Scout
award, Daniel built an authentic
Brian Oppenheim
adobe brick oven at the historic
Reyes Adobe in Agoura Hills.
Daniel will continue to focus on
science at UC Berkeley.
Brian is a jack of all trades at
Agoura High School. A scholar
who’s graduating with a 3.94 grade
point average, Brian is the Commissioner of Technology and the
school’s premiere techie, running
Agoura High’s website for four
years.
Brian’s expertise is so valuable
that he may continue his work at
Agoura High over the summer before he heads off to Cal Poly San
Luis Obispo.
Shawn
Trowbridge
An accomplished athlete, Brian
is a serious long distance runner,
and captain of both the cross country and track teams. In the midst of
hitting the books, running like the
wind, and tinkering with technology, Brian’s a dedicated member of
the school’s Jewish Club.
Shawn is a star athlete at Agoura
High School and among the most
spirited students on campus. A varsity football and basketball marvel,
he is both top jock and thoughtful
fan.
Shawn’s whole-hearted participation in class events is legendary:
cheering on his chums at sports
competitions, joining in spirit competitions and Lip Sync organization
events and serving in the school’s
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Club. Shawn has embraced the
spirit of Agoura High.
Brian Kelly
During Shawn’s first three years
at the high school he only missed
one day of classes. Shawn will attend Moorpark College and hopes
to be a professional football player
some day.
At six foot, five inches tall,
Brian is a natural basketball star.
But Brian’s on-court skills are just
one aspect of his dedication to his
school. Brian also enjoys his role
as public address announcer for the
basketball team and as vice-president of his class.
Ellis Kim
Brian’s enthusiasm for the theatrical spills over in other events,
including the Homecoming game
where he plays the cartoon character Scooby-Doo during a half-time
skit. He also performs in several Lip
Sync fundraising gigs.
Brian’s 3.75 grade point average helped to get him into UC Santa
Barbara.
Ellis achieved a mighty feat at
Agoura High School: He’s a
NASA student team member
whose project was one out of four
in the nation selected to go on the
space shuttle.
Ellis appears to be on his way
to a distinguished career as an
engineer.
His 4.5 grade point average,
strong leadership skills, exceptional math aptitude and tutoring
through the Math Honors Society,
Ellis was accepted at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of
Technology.
But all work and no play is not
Ellis’s style. He’s a four year veteran of Agoura High volleyball
team.
