Viewpoint benefit raises $438K

Viewpoint School of Calabasas hosted its 22nd annual benefit and auction, “Celebrating Viewpont School,” on April 30 at the Skirball Cultural Center. The sold-out crowd of more than 475 guests raised net revenues of $438,000, with proceeds going to the school’s operating budget.

The festivities included celebrity emcees, live and silent auctions, dinner and entertainment. More than 230 items were auctioned, including private drum lessons from Blink 182, the use of a 20-seat luxury box at Dodger Stadium and tickets to attend a taping of “American Idol.” Viewpoint School is a nondenominational, coeducational, kindergarten through grade 12 school of 1,158 students.
