Gasendo named top scholar

Oaks Christian School junior Kevin Gasendo was selected for membership in the National Society of High School Scholars. The Society invites top scholars who have achieved superior academic excellence.

Kevin was among the top 3.8 percent of students who took the PSAT test and a semi-finalist for a National Merit Scholarship.

Kevin has been on the school’s dean’s list. He is a member of the undefeated junior varsity volleyball team and a past member of the frosh-soph basketball team.

He is the son of Leah Gasendo Nishida and Robert Nishida of Agoura Hills.
