Dilbeck Realtors & Associates Charitable Foundation Host Annual Golf Classic
Dilbeck Realtors & Associates Charitable Foundation recently held its fourth annual golf classic at the beautiful Braemar Country Club in Tarzana. “For those of you who played, to our many volunteers and our generous sponsors, we thank you for remembering that Charity Begins at Home and that is the focus of our foundation, ” said Mark Dilbeck, president of Dilbeck Realtors GMAC.
Raising money for Dilbeck Realtors Charitable Foundation were, from left, Chuck Lech (manager of Dilbeck’s Westlake Village office), Michael Rubin, Jennifer Olsen and Jason Waite. Over $20,000 was raised and will be given out this next year to local non profit organizationsThe tournament raised over $20,000 with 140 golfers in attendance. The golf classic benefited the real estate firm’s Charitable Foundation and “yes, everyone in attendance `took a swing’ for the many charities we give to throughout the year,” said Dilbeck. “It is directly due to the support of the day’s golfers and sponsors that we will be able to offer more funding to more organizations this forthcoming year.” The morning was overcast but the sun came out in the afternoon and the golfers were seen ambling over the lush green grassy knolls in a scramble format.
Lunch was an old fashion barbecue with all the trimmings served on the course, giving the golfers an opportunity to exchange the many golf stories and strategy of the day.
Dinner was served in the evening where the winning teams were announced and winning raffle prizes were distributed.
The winners included:
First Place Net in the open division, Sergio Sidemann, Perry Nakao, Paul Ellis and Ryan Hilterbran; Second Place, Jeff Scott, Guy McDonald, Cindy Mc Donald and George Parker; Third Place, Jamie Pearson, Tom Pirruccello, Kevin Bromber and Mike Stiener.
First Place Gross in the open division, Kevin Grahn, Scott Fuller, Mercer Barrows and Joe Cochran; Second Place, Greg Bell, Neal Newman, Ted Dondanvillee and Ron Gerhardt; Third Place, Peter Robarts, Al Resnick, Tom Carnahan and Nick Saffie.
The Women’s Division, winners included: First Place, Susan Lindsey, Carrie Grochow, Linda Williams and Sonia Haas. First Place winners in the Mixed Division were: Chuck Lech, Jennifer Olsen, Jason Waite and Michael Rubin.
