Oak Park on the right track

I would like to thank Supervisor Linda Parks and her assistant, Jan Osterhaven, for all the amazing work they do for our Oak Park community. In the past year alone, they have accomplished so much for us.

They have organized the electronic waste pickup day and community safety forum which will become annual events. They regularly update our new Oak Park signboards, acknowledge people in our community for their volunteer efforts, attend our Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) meetings every month to provide information and answer questions from the community and promptly answer questions during the month when a resident has a question or problem.

They always have a resolution.

They reinvigorated our political volunteerism for the MAC and Parks and Recreations boards. We have so many new people getting involved.

They are always concerned with making sure our sheriff, fire, CHP and ambulance services are working well for us even in the toughest of budget times.

We are all truly lucky to live in such a wonderful community where everyone cares so much!
