Right on track
Local track and field stars were busy last week in preparation for the start of postseason competition
 'CARPE DIEM'-Clockwise from upper right, Moorpark's Corbin Carlos takes first place in the 110 meter hurdles in his heat at the Marmonte League prelims. Briana Wallace of Oaks Christian exhibits fine form as she reaches 16 feet in the long jump at last Friday's Ventura County Championships. The second heat in the girls' mile gets underway with a tightly packed field. A pair of Thousand Oaks hurdlers do battle all the way to the the finish line and high jumper Shaunna Biddison of Agoura takes first place with a leap of 4 feet, 7 inches.
