Middle school students to read stories in character

Students from Lindero Canyon Middle School’s eighth grade honors language arts classes will be at Barnes and Noble at the Westlake Promenade from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. Thurs. and Fri., May 12 and 13, reading from their favorite childhood books, dressed in costumes portraying characters from those books.

This "Children’s Story Time" event is presented in conjunction with an in-store Book Fair that will benefit the school’s library. Students will be reading in the children’s section of the store.

Those interested in making purchases during the event to benefit the school’s library may use a voucher that should be presented at check-out.

Honors English teachers are Mrs. Firestone and Mrs. Jones. The Book Fair’s co-chair is parent volunteer Priscilla Kromnick; reach her for more information at (818) 735-0010.
