‘Every 15 Minutes‘ program hits home

This is in regards to the "School Program Drives Home Danger of DUI" article on April 21.

For seniors in high school, the anticipation of graduation can lead to foolish choices such as driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Celebration is at hand, and liquor seems to increase the vibe of the party atmosphere.

As ridiculous as it may sound to some adults, this is what some teenagers believe.

There may not be a rapid end to drunk driving, but programs such as Every 15 Minutes are continuing to help educate students. This article sent chills through- out my body, for I would never want to experience the heartbreak of loosing a loved one because of drunk driving and retaining hate towards those at fault.
