Fishing trip a real catch

FATHER AND SON EXPEDITION-Parents and kids from Brookside Elementary School hold their Acorn while standing aboard a fishing boat near Channel Islands Harbor April 24. The school PTA took part in a father-son trip sponsored by "Friends of Rollo,"a non-profit organization that introduces children to marine life and the ocean environment through its kids fishing program. John Rowe, executive director at Friends of Rollo, arranged the trip with Captain Frank Ursitti. More than 50 fathers and sons from the Oak Park school enjoyed a day of fishing and dolphin-sighting.
