Maurer thanks voters for support

I am incredibly humbled and deeply honored to be elected to represent the people of Calabasas. Thank you to our community leaders for their support and to my many friends who volunteered their time to work on my campaign.

During the course of this campaign, as I walked through our many neighborhoods, I discovered a common thread of kindheartedness. I was offered water, a place to rest, umbrellas, and words of encouragement and appreciation.

This experience reinforced to me what makes our great city truly a special place to live, work and raise a family.

I look optimistically toward the future and hope that many more people step forward to get involved with our new Calabasas.

Lastly, I want to thank my husband, Paul Villadolid, and my three sons, Martin, Derek and Neil, who support my passion to volunteer.
