See ‘Down on the Rancho’ this Saturday

The Leonis Adobe Museum Children’s Theater group will perform "Down on the Rancho" at noon Sat., March 19 at the museum, 23537 Calabasas Road, Old Town Calabasas.

The musical, based on growing up on a ranch in the 1880s, is crafted in Shakespearean style with boys’ and girls’ interests outside traditional expectations. A fan dance, roping, and Spanish dialogue are some of the fun art forms included in the musical to bring history alive for the audience.

Tickets for the family play are $4 adults, $3 seniors and $2 children under 12 for non-members and includes admission to the museum. Members receive a $1 discount on each ticket purchase.
