Free event will introduce parents, kids to the fun of crafting

Kids love to use their imagination. They often dream up imaginary friends to play with.

Michaels Stores, Inc., in partnership with Crayola®, will give kids of all ages the opportunity to bring imaginary friends to life during a "Build A Buddy" free family event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., March 19 at 5780 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village.

This come-and-go, family-oriented activity is intended to introduce children and parents to the fun and quality time families can share as they craft together. Young and old alike will mold Crayola® Model Magic® into a character from their imagination and then add plastic pieces to create a unique "buddy" to take home.
