Einstein’s Jewish identity is topic of March 23 lecture

Sander L. Gilman, a distinguished professor of liberal arts and medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago and author of many books on Jewish identity, will discuss "Albert Einstein’s Jewish Identity" at 7:30 p.m. Wed., March 23 at the Skirball Cultural Center, 2701 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles.

Gilman’s most recent book is "Jewish Frontiers: Essays on Bodies, Histories, and Identities." In his talk, he will examine some of the implications of being Jewish in Einstein’s time and beyond.
