Calabasas Library-Two minds are better than one

There is nothing better to prove the theory that two great minds are better than one than the success of the soon-to-be-built Calabasas Library.

Fred Gaines, President of the Library Commission, and his team worked diligently to secure funding for this library. After being rejected for funding the first time, Mr. Gaines worked with our school district to arrange a joint-use program. The new approved proposal gives the residents of Calabasas a great library and the students of the LVUSD a great environment where they can study and be connected to their school web sites.

Whoever said working with one’s neighbors beyond city boundaries is impossible should take a leaf out of the Library Commission and the LVUSD’s book. Congratulations to all involved!
