This show is for the dogs

MIXING IT UP-The fourth annual 'Nuts for Mutts' dog show is March 20 in Woodland Hills. The show is for mixed breed dogs.

Dog lovers are invited to join host Kim Basinger at the fourth annual "Nuts for Mutts" dog show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sun., March 20 at Pierce College’s Shephard Stadium, 6201 Winnetka Ave., Woodland Hills.

Sixteen celebrity judges will be present including Allison Janney, Janel Maloney, Debra Wilson, Galen Gering, Samantha Mathis and Heidi Hamilton.

New Leash on Life and Animal Planet will host this dog show for mixed breed dogs only. Dogs will be judged in 30 categories. The celebrity judges will select winners including "Best in Show."

In addition to the dog show, 80 pet-friendly vendors will be on site. There will be pet adoptions available, a silent auction, a kids’ corner and refreshments available for purchase.

All proceeds benefit New Leash on Life Animal Rescue, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescue and placement of abandoned animals and educating the public on the importance of spay and neuter and responsible pet ownership.
