Interactive dinner theater through May

Most dinner theater events feature a lot more action on stage than in the audience, but the Gypsy Players are presenting a unique murder mystery dinner theater event that features interactive byplay between actors and diners.

In interactive theater, the action is all around; actors may sit at a diner’s table or the diner himself might be a suspect. Everyone has a chance to try their sleuthing skills, and the person who comes closest to solving the mystery will receive a prize.

The theater event will take place at the Grand Vista Hotel, 999 Enchanted Way in Simi Valley, and the Holiday Inn, 1320 Newbury Road in Thousand Oaks. Shows run approximately two and one-half hours and reservations are required. (The show is not suitable for children.) The cost is $45, which includes dinner, dessert, beverage and gratuity.
