Clinic provides health screening

Conejo Free Clinic in partnership with Kaiser Permanente-Thousand Oaks will host a free women’s health screening event for underinsured and uninsured women from 9 a.m. to noon Sat., March 19 at Kaiser Permanente, 365 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Free services to the first 100 women include: breast self-exam and breast cancer education; breast examination by healthcare provider; mammogram and pap smear; blood pressure screening; cholesterol and diabetes screening; and distribution of health education materials.

Mobile mammography services will be provided by Elizabeth Center for Cancer Detection, Los Angeles. Off-site mammography services will be provided by Medical Diagnostic Imaging.
