Camp Kinneret celebrates 51st season, open house is March 20

Celebrating its 51st camping season, Camp Kinneret has a reputation of having second- and third-generation families return year after year. Camp Kinneret provides a dynamic, exciting and safe camp program for children ages 4 to 14. A Counselor-in-Training program is available for campers entering eighth and ninth grades.

At its 40-plus-acre campsite in Agoura, the caring, well-trained staff provide traditional camp activities, including horseback riding, swimming, archery, music, gymnastics, sports, challenge ropes courses, rock-wall climbing, beach trips, overnights, cooperative field games, woodworking and more. The camp has a warm family feeling that provides a fun, positive environment in which to develop new skills in a well-supervised setting.

Camp Kinneret provides transportation with certified school bus drivers and seat-belted, air-conditioned school buses with camp counselors on board. Children enroll for two to five days each week. The camp season is June 27 through Aug. 26. Families can meet the staff and learn about camp programs at open houses from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sun., March 20 and Sun., April 17.
