Westlake Hills Elementary hosts fun run

Westlake Hills Elementary School will present its Fun Run on Fri., March 4 on the school campus at 3333 S. Medicine Bow Court, Westlake Village. Grades 4 through 6 will run from 8:40 to 9:05 a.m.; grades 2 to 3 from 10:15 to 10:35 a.m.; and grades K-1 from 11 to 11:15 a.m.

The Jogathon/Fun Run is one of the school’s most successful fundraisers. The Parent Faculty Association is responsible for promoting the event which raises supplemental funds needed at the school.

The event is not a race. Children are encouraged to run, walk, hop or fox trot at a level that allows them to do their best. Each child will receive his or her medal immediately following the completion of their run.

Sponsorship and all student pledge donations are due between March 7 and 14. In case of rain, the Fun Run will be on Fri., March 11 and the sponsorship and pledge donations will be due between March 14 to 21.
