Local residents named to Dean’s List

Tufts University in Boston has named the following local residents to their 2004 Dean’s List Honors: Matthew Leeds of Calabasas; and Jessica Lessing and Alison Meisel, both of Oak Park.

Meghan Dana Joss, a sophomore at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va., has earned Dean’s List status for the fall 2004 term. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eric Joss of Agoura Hills.

Ryan Burns of Oak Park was named to the Dean’s List for the 2004-2005 fall term at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. He is pursuing an associate degree in hotel management from the Hospitality College on the Providence campus.

Dan Greenspan, son of Jonathan and Dana Greenspan of Westlake Village and a senior at the University of Southern California (USC), was recently awarded the Allan Malamud/LA Times Sports Editor Scholarship.

Greenspan began writing for the Daily Trojan in the summer of 2004 and was appointed sports editor for this spring’s semester.

He transferred to the Annenberg School of Communication at USC in his junior year, where he has remained on the Dean’s Honor List.
