Reader supports informed voting

The citizens of Calabasas have heard some conflicting information from one forum or council meeting to the next and some candidates’ platform positions have changed over the last 90 days.

Therefore, I urge you to look back on the archived video at www.CityofCalabasas.com to become an informed voter.

The most qualified candidate is not the one who may have smiled the nicest, said hello in the supermarket, or is the only name you are familiar with, but one who has stayed consistent and looks out for all citizens in our community.

We are in need of leaders who recognize the efforts and accomplishments of the Las Virgenes Unified School District and who vow to assist them. We do not need a council member publicly chastising the district for declining to implement a suggestion. We do not need a council member who repeatedly offends our neighboring cities.

Therefore, I am proud to endorse Jonathan Wolfson, Mary Sue Maurer and James Bozajian. I feel they are the best candidates to lead our city. I hope you will join me in the fight to make the necessary immediate change in our community on March 8. We cannot afford to wait any longer.
