Mary Sue Maurer has ‘it’ quality

Mary Sue Maurer is the "it" candidate for our family. Maurer is a one-woman powerhouse. She is dedicated, tenacious, intelligent and involved. She is a strong children’s advocate as demonstrated by her effort to implement the National Walk to School Day in Calabasas, heighten awareness of the district school nurse crisis and co-found "Middle School Now."

Mary Sue is dedicated to preserving our beautiful surroundings as shown by her involvement with the Santa Monica Mountain Conservancy. She knows how to garner consensus and implement change. She knows how the political system works and how to work it while remaining independent and true to her values. She is the right candidate for city council at the right time.
