It’s crucial for schools to cooperate It’s crucial for schools to cooperate "We want to share ideas and work together." That’s a common theme when PFC/A presidents get together monthly to discuss happenings at our schools. We believe it is crucial for the schools within the district to actively cooperate with each other to enhance the experiences of our students. After all, being part of a strong district is as important as having strong schools within our city boundaries. We believe that investigating the opportunity to improve our schools by jointly pursuing grants and funds with all partner district cities, not just Calabasas alone, should be met with full support. Everybody knows that Calabasas owes much of its status to our highly desired school district. Those who have followed recent Calabasas meetings and forums are well aware that certain Education Fund members and city council members do not see this as an opportunity for growth and cooperation, but rather an attempt by the greater community to take advantage of Calabasas. This type of uncooperative negativity is unacceptable, counter-productive and harms our relationship with partner district cities. There are three candidates we believe have the vision and demeanor to promote a positive future for both the city of Calabasas and the district. Please join us in supporting incumbents, James Bozajian, Mary Sue Maurer and Jonathon Wolfson on March 8. Christy Littleford, Nelly deVinck Calabasas |
