Hospice hosts 8 weeks of training for volunteers

Hospice of the Conejo will conduct a special eight-week volunteer training program beginning Thurs., March 10 in the conference room at 80 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

Volunteers offer support to the terminally ill and their families. Other volunteer opportunities include helping in the office or with fundraising. Hospice also offers a variety of bereavement programs.

The training program is also open to any individuals interested in learning about end of life issues.

A volunteer organization, Hospice of the Conejo serves Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Agoura Hills and Calabasas. There is no fee for any of their services.
