L.A. Music Center presents outdoor concert series at Disney Hall

The Music Center of Los Angeles County will present an outdoor family program rich with Irish and Scottish traditions as part of World City, a performance series celebrating the rich diversity of cultural traditions reflected in the Los Angeles region.

Patrick Ball and The Tinkers will perform at 11 a.m. and again at 12:30 p.m. Sat., March 12 in the W.M. Keck Foundation Children’s Amphitheater at Walt Disney Concert Hall, in downtown Los Angeles. Free tickets will be distributed beginning at 10 a.m. on Grand Ave. at Second St., in front of the staircase leading to the garden.

Renowned Celtic harpist Patrick Ball will share his traditional music and enchanting stories of Ireland. The Tinkers blend ancient Scottish highland bagpipes with the primitive rhythms of drums in their concert featuring jigs and reels.
