Buddha offering

ON DISPLAY-World-traveling photographer and Agoura Hills resident Ziva Santop took this picture of a monk making an offering to Buddha at Shwedagon Pagoda in Myanmar (formerly Burma). Considered the greatest in the world, the pagoda is believed to have been built nearly 2,600 years ago at a time when Buddha walked the earth. Santop's photographs will be on exhibit at Borders Books in Santa Barbara from Feb. 25 to March 31.
