Agoura Hills A purse, two digital cameras, a credit card, a wallet, a PDA and cash were stolen from a 2003 Ford Explorer parked in the 5000 block of Lewis Road between Jan. 28 and 29. The items were valued at $1,300. The driver side window was broken. Someone broke a car window in the 5000 block of Lewis Road between Jan. 29 and 30. The person stole several leather jackets and other clothing items as well as a digital camera, credit cards and a wallet. The items were valued at $1,300. A thief stole an Ipod FM transmitter, 30 CDs and other accessories Jan. 28 from an unlocked vehicle parked near a business in the 30100 block of Agoura Road between 7 a.m. and noon while the owner was at work. The items were valued at $100. The victim said another employee told him there was a White male wondering around the parking lot and authorities were called at that time. According to an earlier report, a transient was begging for money at that location. Between Jan 25 and 26, in the 30100 block of Agoura Road, a person shattered a window and stole an Ipod and accessories from a car parked near a hotel. The items were valued at $400. Unknown person(s) broke the side mirror of a Dodge truck parked in front of a resident on Quail Run Drive between Jan. 29 and 30. Calabasas Someone broke into a car parked next to a business in the 24500 block of Calabasas Road between Jan. 29 and 31. Both front seats were damaged with a sharp object and the passenger window was broken during the incident, which incurred $1,200 in damages. The rear side window of a 2001 Nissan Sentra was shattered and a $200 garment bag with clothes inside was stolen from the car between Jan 26 and 27. The culprit also stole CDs and a case valued at $200. The car was parked in a lot by a hotel in the 24100 block of Park Sorrento. A burglar broke two windows of Calabasas home between Jan. 20 and 29 while the resident was away. No street address was given. The resident told the sheriff she turned off all the electronic devices in her home before she left, but saw that her kitchen lights had been turned on when she returned. A neighbor told authorities he saw a White male between 20 and 30 wearing a hat and a yellow backpack break the windows and enter the residence on Jan. 28 at about 2 p.m. The neighbor said he thought the person was a construction worker who possibly forgot a tool. Westlake Village A Toshiba laptop valued at $3,700 and two remote wireless microphones, valued at $400 were stolen last week from a banquet room in a hotel while the owner, a disc jockey, was entertaining at a wedding outside. The incident occurred at the 319400 block of Agoura Road. Someone stole an in-dash AM/FM radio and speakers valued at about $100 from a car parked Jan. 28 in front of a supermarket in the 5700 block of Lindero Canyon Road between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Police RSS feed |
