Maurer makes a good choice

I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Mary Sue Maurer for the Calabasas City Council.

Mary Sue is a mom of three, a businesswoman, a neighborhood activist and a regional leader. Her professional and volunteer efforts in support of our community span the issues most important to Calabasas: the environment, transportation and education.

To highlight some of her efforts: vice president of the Mulwood Homeowners Association, coordinator of the Mulwood "Walk to School" program, member of the Calabasas Education Commission, co-founder of Middle School Now, signatory on the Measure E campaign, member of the LVUSD Health Task Force, former designee to the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy and the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission.

Her record proves she is a visionary consensus builder. Remember to vote for Mary Sue Maurer on March 8 for an even better Calabasas.
