Acorn brings back good times

I didn’t have any particular reason to write, other than to say how nice it was to see your paper again. I am a college student, and one of my recent assignments was to write about the differences we see when comparing a local paper to its own online version.

I didn’t have to think twice about what local paper I would pick for my assignment because The Acorn is the only local paper I’m familiar with. Unfortunately, I don’t live in Agoura Hills anymore; I moved back to the San Fernando Valley in 2003, but during the couple of years that I was an Agoura resident, your paper truly made my week.

I was so into the crossword puzzles that you guys put in the paper that I would sit on my porch every Thursday morning, waiting for The Acorn to arrive. When accessing your site, it was so comforting to see everything exactly how I remember it. I just want to say that your paper will always be a way for me to remember all of the good times that I spent in the Conejo Valley.
