Jonathan Wolfson endorsed for city council

On the planning commission, Jon has demonstrated a consistently moderate approach. As a lawyer with a background in mediation, he has shown a unique ability to lead the commission toward consensus and a creative and balanced resolution. I believe he will lead the city council with the same thoughtful and respectful approach.

Jon Wolfson will be proactive in negotiating with the Las Virgines Unified School District to find a new school site within our city. As the father of four school-age children, he is concerned with the issues that face many of us as parents living in Calabasas: excellence in education, continued traffic and safety improvements and the preservation of our open space, trail system and environment.

Because he is also a businessman, Jon Wolfson understands the importance of maintaining our financial strength and governmental efficiency in order to achieve the high goals we have for ourselves.

As a city councilman, he will be a strong leader and professional steward of our city.
