Hospital foundation honors brokerage firm

The Sherman Oaks Hospital Foundation Board recently dedicated its first floor community conference facility as the "Lee & Associates Doctors Conference Room" in recognition of the commitment afforded by the commercial real estate firm toward the hospital’s "Dreams Becoming Reality" fundraising campaign.
Lee & Associates, founded in 1979, is one of the largest regional commercial real estate providers in the U. S. and has offices in Calabasas.
The hospital’s fundraising program that commenced in 2004 is earmarking funds from the five-year, $15 million campaign toward capital improvements and programs of the Sherman Oaks Hospital and Grossman Burn Center. Proceeds from Lee & Associates’ annual Golf Classic, scheduled for Oct. 14, will go toward the campaign.
In related news, veteran brokers Len Effron and Douglas Humphrey recently joined Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura, Inc. as senior vice presidents focused on industrial and investment properties. The brokerage serves the North Los Angeles region encompassing the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Conejo Valleys out of its Sherman Oaks headquarters and additional Calabasas office.
Effron earned an MBA in Business Administration-Marketing from USC after graduating from UCLA.
Prior to joining the Lee & Associates operation in Calabasas, Humphrey worked as an investment vice president at Irvine-based Collins Commercial. He earned a BS degree in Management/Business from the University of Tampa, Fla.
