Sign up kids for Conejo Valley Days Tiny Tots Pageant

Entry forms are now available for the 2005 Conejo Valley Days (CVD) Tiny Tots Pageant. The event will be at 1 p.m. Sat., March 5 as part of the Conejo Valley Days Kickoff Picnic. The picnic and pageant will be at Conejo Creek North.

Boys and girls are invited to wear their favorite western, county, prairie, cowboy, cowgirl or Indian outfit during the pageant. Children may participate in four age divisions: 1 month to 23 months, 2- and 3-year-olds, 4- and 5-year-olds and ages 6 through 8.

Each child entered in the event will receive a "fun bag" of goodies and a CVD Certificate of Achievement. A king and queen will be announced in each age category. The crowned kings and queens will ride in the Conejo Valley Days Parade down Thousand Oaks Boulevard on Sat., April 30.

Businesses are welcome to donate prizes or items for the fun bag (i.e., water bottles, coloring books, small toys, stuffed animals).

"Last year, the response from parents, children and contributing merchants was tremendous," said Pam Howard of Lussier Productions. She is also chair of the CVD Tiny Tots Pageant.

Lussier Productions, Inc., a nonprofit organization, coordinates the event each year. It is accepting a maximum of 80 children. Parents are encouraged to submit their entry forms as soon as possible. Deadline for entries is Mon., Feb. 28

Entry into the CVD Tiny Tots Pageant is free. To request an entry form, call Lussier Productions, Inc. at (805) 496-4839 or email: lussier.productions@verizon.net. The entry forms are also available at the Conejo Valley Days website at www.conejovalleydays.com under "calendar of events."
