Golf tournament benefits Tri-Valley Special Olympics

The "Superstars for Special Olympics" Golf Classic, benefiting Tri-Valley Special Olympics, the Calabasas/Agoura Community Center Alliance, the John Wooden Special Needs Funds, and the L.A. Chapter of the Retired NBA, is slated for Mon., March 7 at North Ranch Country Club, Westlake Village.

The event gives golfing enthusiasts the opportunity to be paired up or spend the day with legendary "Hall of Famers" from the NBA, such as Rick Barry, Moses Malone, Keith Erickson, Maurice Lucas, Darwin Cook, Don Ford, Duane Cooper, AC Green, Norm Nixon, Jamaal Wilkes, Lucius Allen, Jerry Chambers, Flynn Robinson and others who will participate in a day of golf activities.

Participation is a $350 donation per person. Included with registration is a continental breakfast beginning at 9 a.m., lunch on the course and a banquet.

There will be a live/silent auction beginning at 5 p.m. at the Country Club, including signed sports memorabilia.

Non-golfers are invited to attend the awards ceremony and gourmet dinner that evening. Individual dinner tickets are available for $65 each. The awards ceremony will feature an extensive live and silent auction and merchandising opportunities from the retired NBA players themselves.

Sponsorship options are available to businesses starting at $250 for a tee sign featuring the business’ name.
