Agoura Hills

Burglars took everything, including the kitchen sink, from a home under construction in the 29000 block of Tackaberry Court between Jan 15 and Jan 16. The items included a $1,200 dishwasher, a $500 microwave and a stainless steel kitchen sink valued at $350. All items were mounted into the kitchen cabinets. The house was unlocked at the time of the incident.

A thief stole $2,400 in cash from a business in the 30100 block of Agoura Road. The incident occurred on Jan 15. Property damages amounted to $1,000.

Someone shattered the back window of a 2000 Honda Odyssey minivan parked in the 28600 block of Conejo View Drive between Jan. 16 and 17. The culprit caused $300 in damages, but nothing was missing from the vehicle.

The damages amounted to $725 when a person shattered a window and stole a cell phone from a car parked in the 27500 block of Country Glen Road on Jan. 18.

BB gun pellets shattered several windows on a recreational vehicle parked on Rolling Ridge Drive and Green Meadow Drive Jan 17. Damages, including the $800 windshield, were estimated at $1,200.

Taggers hit Forest Cove Park on Jan. 17 around midnight. While the culprits were spray-painting the bathrooms at the park, a neighbor called the Sheriff’s department to report vandalism in progress, but when deputies arrived, the vandals were gone. The graffiti included a swastika and anti-war slogans.

An opportunistic thief stole a purse left unattended on a chair Jan. 7. The incident occurred at a business in the 5000 block of Lewis Road. The purse contained a wallet with $60 in cash, a driver’s license and American Express gift checks. Estimated loss was about $200.

Calabasas

Vandals damaged several soda vending machines on a school campus in the 22800 block of Mulholland Highway. They took $300 in cash and caused $700 in damages. The incident happened overnight Jan 5.

Two air jacks were stolen from the rear of a U-Haul truck parked on the street in the 26500 block of Agoura Road. No date was given. The items were valued at $1,300.

On Jan. 15, someone broke into a car parked in the 23400 block of Park Sorrento and caused $250 in damages. The vandal(s) shattered a window and took a cell phone, a day planner and credit cards.

Westlake Village

Between Jan 2 and 3, someone shattered the window of a car parked in the 4600 block of Lakeview Canyon Drive. Damages were $150.
