Governor not education friendly

It is unfortunate to note that Governor Schwarzenegger views the teachers in this state as a so-called "special interest" against whom our children must be protected.

Can it be that he is just blowing smoke to distract us from his inability to resolve the fiscal crisis in this state while he runs up an enormous debt for, you guessed it, our children to pay?

Can it be that he was being less than candid when he promised to restore Prop. 98 funds taken away last year? Perhaps his fingers were crossed behind his back when he made that promise.

Can it be that this is yet another example of his slow-boating approach to government?

Can it be that we are getting what we asked for?
