Water board names officers

The Board of Directors of Las Virgenes Municipal Water District ((LVMWD) has elected new officers for two-year terms selecting Charles Caspary of Hidden Hills as president; Joseph Bowman of Westlake Village as vice-president; Ann Dorgelo of Agoura Hills as secretary; and Glen Peterson of Agoura Hills as treasurer.

Board members Caspary and Bowman also took the oath of office for new four-year terms as directors.

To his role of president and director, Caspary brings more than 35 years of experience in the recycling and environmental services industry as well as a commitment to youth services and educational programs.

Bowman, vice president and director, was instrumental in the early development of Westlake as a master-planned community and has been active for decades in charitable causes that benefit local residents.

LVMWD provides potable water, wastewater services, recycled water and biosolids-composting for more than 65,000 residents in the cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Westlake Village and Hidden Hills.
