Tightly knit bunch

Young adults are invited to join members of the Thousand Oaks Library’s Teen Advisory League and Westlake High School’s "Sheep Club" for two informal knitting programs at the Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

The first get-together will be from 7 to 8:45 p.m. Thurs., Feb. 10; the second will be at the same time on Thurs., March 10.

Participants will be taught by fellow teens how to knit or crochet a simple scarf or sectional piece that can then be donated to the "Warm Up America" Foundation, if desired. Knitting needles or crochet hook and a skein of yarn should be brought to the first meeeing.
