Children’s performance on tap

The Conejo Valley Children’s Concert Series will present the following programs at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

At 9:30 and 11 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m. Fri., Jan. 21 in the Scherr Forum Theatre, story teller Diane Ferlatte will present multicultural stories and songs of inspiration, humor, struggle and love. A performer who has appeared on national and international stages, Ferlatte is known for her dynamic and rhythmic style.

Tickets for the morning performances are $7; $10 for the evening performance.

At 1 p.m. Sat., Feb. 5 in the Kavli Theatre, the award-winning Parachute Express will share their "splendid harmonies and catchy dance tunes" with the audience. Tickets are $10.
