Gardens of the World seeks volunteer docents Gardens of the World Community Park is seeking volunteers to serve as docents at the park, located opposite the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza at 2001 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks. Docents will be trained to lead educational tours. Volunteers are also needed to assist in special events. Docents are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
