‘Fear Factor’ crosses the line in treatment of animals

We stand behind Gabriel Budin-Smithers in her protest of animal abuse on the NBC series, "Fear Factor," to say nothing of the way animals are routinely exploited by society in infinite other ways. How refreshing that someone as young as Gabriel exhibits such wisdom, insight and sensitivity regarding animals.

On the other hand, it was our own daughter who, at age 10, many years ago persuaded us that becoming vegetarian was necessary for us to live in a way that was consistent with our proclaimed love and respect for animal life.
