Fastpitch tourney scheduled

Girls Fastpitch Softball is pleased to announce the inaugural Tri-County Invitational for Jan 22 to 23, which will showcase some of the top fastpitch softball players and teams in Ventura, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties.

This year’s event will be limited to 16 teams with players age 14 and under only and will feature a 5-game guarantee, ASA rules (unsanc-tioned), awards for the champion, runner-up and consolation champion. Additionally, the tournament champion will receive a donation from Panthers Gold equal to their team entry fee.

The entry fee of $325 is due by Jan. 8. The tournament will be played in Oxnard.
