Air Force Airman Tanner Hutchinson and Air Force Airman 1st Class Jocelyne MacKay have graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, both of them studied the Air Force mission, organization and military customs and courtesies. Hutchinson and MacKay performed drill and ceremony marches, and participated in physical training, rifle marksmanship and field training exercises. They also received special training in human relations.
Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Hutchinson is the son of Kathy Hutchinson of Agoura Hills.
MacKay is the sister of Veryan MacKay of Calabasas. Airman 1st Class MacKay graduated in 1999 from Calabasas High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in 2003 from the University of California Santa Barbara.
